The Pinot Grigio wine from Livio Felluga is one of the most appreciated labels from one of the most famous wineries in Friuli. Livio Felluga began his production activity by purchasing some vineyards in Rosazzo, in one of the most beautiful and suitable locations in the entire area of the Colli Orientali. From the very beginning, he directed his production towards a search for uncompromising quality to enhance the historically present grape varieties in the territory. Today, Livio Felluga manages an estate of over 150 hectares in the the best areas of the Colli Orientali and Collio, with some prestigious parcels in the Rosazzo area. Its labels, which depict the ancient maps of the territory, are known all over the world and have now become a guarantee of absolute quality.
The Pinot Grigio Felluga is a splendid interpretation, marked by elegance and expressive balance, which brings into the glass the best characteristics of a particularly vocated terroir like that of the Colli Orientali. At the end of the manual harvest, a soft pressing of the grapes is carried out, followed by fermentation of the must in stainless steel tanks. Before bottling, the wine rests on the lees in steel tanks for about 6 months. In the glass, it presents a light yellow color with brilliant coppery reflections. The bouquet is rich and broad, with aromas of white flowers, ripe fruit, peach, apricot, cartucciaro melon, and citrus nuances. On the palate, it is seductive, with intense and enveloping aromas that stretch towards a pleasantly fruity finish, with good taste persistence.
